Company in court over crippled hand

A transport manufacturing firm has been fined £5000 after a 19-year-old man’s hand was crushed by a machine.Matthew Parker was working on a three roll bending machine at the W H Davies plant in Mansfield, when his glove got caught, drawing his hand into the counter-rotating rollers.
